Cryptography
Configure the following settings in the Cryptography tab of the Properties of the New Template dialog.
Provider Category
Select one of the following providers.
| Provider | Supported certificate template versions |
|---|---|
| Legacy Cryptograph Service Provider | 1, 2, 3, 4 |
| Key Storage Provider | 3, 4 |

Algorithm name
When the Provider Category value is Key Storage Provider, you can select one of the following algorithms.
- RSA
- ECDH_P256
- ECDH_P384
- ECDH_P521
Minimum key size
Do not modify this field unless the Algorithm name value is RSA. Supported key sizes are the following.
- 2048
- 3072
- 4096
